I actually... like the anime.

I know that a lot of people think the anime is horrible/is nowhere near as good as the games/manga, but I honestly like it. Keep in mind that it's still on-going, so saying that it's crap compared to the originals is rushing to conclusions. I'm not going to pay $40 for the visual novels just because the anime has not shown as much as them yet.

I like the anime too; I know there's more to cover in the novels but seriously, there are some things best left in them. (Like EP1's conversation with the adults about the money problems. I nearly fell asleep during that.)

Or I could be a Daisuke Ono fangirl.


And 40 bucks for the first four games together: WORTH IT. Seriously. EP5 and 6 are running about 30 bucks each which include shipping.

I know there was a low budget but that's no excuse for an error like that.

^Are you kidding me? Compared to how much the animators failed on Higurashi, they're doing amazingly with Umineko.

That is true, but some of the errors like the switching of hair colour of the stakes actually get on my nerves.

It's something to take with a grain of salt. It doesn't bug me really.

Unfortunately, spending $40 for the first four games, then $60 for the next two=$100 for something I don't particularly care about=$100 not being saved by me=25-50% of the money I get in a year being spent. I'm too young to get a job, and I have a limited allowance. And then there's the fact that I like to save my money. And that when I do spend money, I generally like it to be on things like books or new clothes or the cinema or food, not games that I'll probably never even take out of the packages. [/rant]
